Apple’s iPhone 17



Apple unveiled its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models as well as the new iPhone 17 Air, that replaces the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, but you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, ahead of the September 19 release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 has a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after much anticipation (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.

Internally, the new A19 chip is quicker as well as more optimized, especially when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a huge jump in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and also more detailed.

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, this website green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in three premium finishes: blue, orange and silver.
